We welcome Bitcoin Core developer Dr. Johnson Lau to give a presentation about “The Art of Reaching Consensus in Blockchain System”.
Highlights include:
- how consensus is formed and maintained in a decentralized system
- why is it difficult to reach new consensus
- a social (v.s. technical) approach to define softfork and hardfork
The talk is followed by a short panel discussion.
